hi guys ! a short update so soon but went to the ER today to get my eyes checked and am now a pirate arrr i have multiple appointments lined up because it seems my condition is really bad, but the eyepatch is helping to ease the sensitivity in my eyes right now !! :>

COMMISSION UPDATE: MARCH 31ST

hi guys !! i just wanted to give an update so you guys know where i'm at and whats affecting the delays (if any). of course for 2026 comms i already mentioned that check-ins will be longer because of prepping for con (as well as it being the end of the semester) but my eye condition over the last week or so has been worsening very quickly to the point that most of the time i have to wear sunglasses and a hoodie both indoors and outdoors and can no longer really see out of one eye. the good news is that i should be getting my prescription eye drops next week so we are staying positive !! >< 'giving this update just to thank you for your patience as well as just to say i am NOT forfeiting the quality of your commission for my eyes which is why i am extremely grateful for everyone. if you have any concerns about your commission please reach out to me !! as for the 3 week break i have coming up (praying i am better by then omg) i will be sending out another status update somewhere around mid-april to notify all ongoing comms that there will probably be one more update before i leave. thank you again !! <3

what is happening to earliy 2026 commissioins?

beginning january 2026 commissioners will be told beforehand to expect and accept the terms as followed: (1) longer periods between check-ins (2) a ~3 week break between late april - mid may. note: silly doodles will not be affected by the longer expected delivery, but will be by the 3 week break

why are you going on break?

in preparation for cons in may (hello singaporean and torontonian friends !! >:3 ) and more focus needed in this specific winter semester of school, i'm trying to find a balance between income and my studies !! ><;;

will the service types be changed after your break?

currently i have no plans of changing or getting rid of any existing services !

how often should i expect to hear from you during this period?

please expect and understand if check-ins are up to 2 weeks long, but will try my best to be as quick and efficient as possible !! during my ~3 week break there will most likely be no check-ins on progress, but i will send a reminder beforehand and will be available to answer inquiries when i have the time to ^^

when will commissions return to normal?

i'm expecting it to be around late may - early june !! but any changes to this will be updated as i see fit !
