NEW YEAR STATUS UPDATE FOR CURRENT COMMISSIONS

happy new years everyone !! i hope everyone had a great holiday and wishing you good health and happiness for the year ahead !! :D

to first give a general update, i’m almost fully recovered from the flu (some of you were aware, if it affected your check-ins), but unfortunately my eyes have been worsening since early december so i can’t spend as long as i normally can looking at a screen and i ask for your understanding if check-ins are a bit late !! 🙇🙇 i have an appointment lined up with my doctor to hopefully get a second opinion with another specialist so praying it’ll be resolved soon !!

per my 2026 notice, please be aware that check-ins may begin to be delayed (i expect them to be fairly normal early on, but on top of my eye problem they may be up to ~12 days !! ><;;) silly doodles are NOT affected by this and should maintain the same schedule (2 weeks after proposal). more info on this can be found below and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to message me ! thank you again in advance for your understanding and i hope everyone has a great 2026 !! 💖

what is the update about?

beginning january 2026 i will begin closing bigger illustrations UPDATE: i've decided to keep accepting / waitlisting commissions ! instead, commissioners will be told beforehand to expect and accept the terms as followed: (1) longer periods between check-ins (2) a ~3 week break between late april - mid may note: silly doodles will not be affected by the longer expected delivery, but may be by the 3 week break

why are you going on break?

in preparation for doujima (i'll see you there my singaporean friends !! :> ) and more focus needed in this specific winter semester of school, i'm slowly dwindling my normal amount of slots and commission workload as i get more busy for the early half of next year !!

what if i'm currently in the waitlist?

all waitlists that have an estimated start time of january or earlier are guaranteed completion before the 3 week break and will not be affected by this. on the off chance it does, i'll make sure to message you asap !!

will the service types be changed after your break?

currently i have no plans of changing or getting rid of any existing services !

how often should i expect to hear from you during this period?

as of right now i don't have a concrete answer and i expect early on in the year that check-ins will mainly stay the same, but i ask that you may expect and understand if check-ins are up to 2 weeks long. during my ~3 week break there will most likely be no check-ins on progress, but i will send a reminder beforehand and should be available to answer inquiries when i have the time to ^^

when will commissions return to normal?

i'm expecting it to be around late may - june at the earliest !! knowing me if i ever find the time to i'll definitely treat comms like normal (save me...), but any changes to this will be updated as i see fit !
